Early in the year Key Media continued to establish itself as a globe-conquering force when we opened our eighth worldwide office in Banglalore, India. Where will we expand to next? Stay tuned …

 

KEY MEDIA PUBLICATIONS SMASH RECORDS

Key Media publications The Educator and HC Online (later rebranded – see below) saw 2017 progress in style with record-breaking quarters. A packed agenda of relevant breaking new stories, record sessions, users and page views delivered record revenue.

 

MASSIVE REBRAND BOOSTS KEY MEDIA SUCCESS

Key Media triumphed in another market this year, with a streamlined rebrand of our four HR news sites under the Human Resources Director brand – the industry’s only magazine targeted specifically for CHRO’s and HR Directors. This means that publications under the HRD banner now reaches an incredible readership of over 220,000 senior HR professionals every month.

 

SPEAKING OF SUCCESS …

… Key Media’s first ever HR technology event went fantastically well, with 566 HR professionals and tech enthusiasts gathering in Toronto for HR Tech Canada. With three stages, an exhibition hall and a ‘tech den’ for start-ups to pitch their ideas, the hard work of everyone involved was massively rewarded.

 

AND OF EVENTS …

The Australian HR Awards – just one of the many great annual award ceremonies organized by Key Media – continued to go from strength to strength in 2017, filling The Star Sydney with a remarkable 880 attendees.

 

AND THEN THERE’S AWARDS …

Accolades roll in every year for Key Media – and 2017 was no different. HRD Asia won Business Website of the Year award at the Media Publishers Association of Singapore (MPAS) Awards, while the Wealth Professional team also won big at the Canadian Online Publishing awards, with Wealth Professional scooping the silver prize in the Best Trade Media Website category and editor Joe Rosengarten winning silver in the Best Branded Content category.

 

KEY MEDIA MAKES PROFIT 500

Finally – for the fifth year in a row, no less – Key Media was included on the annual PROFIT 500 Ranking of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies. The PROFIT 500 is a massively influential joint venture by Canada’s premier business and media brands that has acted as an industry barometer for 29 years. We’re already putting the champagne on ice in expectation of making next year’s list …
